About CDS College of Engineering

CDS College of Engineering began in 2025 on Beed Bypass Road, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad). The college is run by S.S.B.S.S (Sarwadnya Shaikshanik Bahuuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha), Aurangabad (trust registration MH/AWB/724/06). We offer five AICTE-approved B.E. programmes affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) — 60 seats per branch, 300 seats in total.

The programmes are Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Classes, labs, and examinations follow AICTE and BAMU norms.

To provide sound engineering education in Marathwada and prepare students for skilled employment and further studies.

Mission

• Run approved B.E. programmes with regular teaching, labs, and internal assessment.
• Keep laboratories and workshops in use for practical work throughout the course.
• Guide students on admissions, attendance, examinations, internships, and placements.
• Maintain anti-ragging, ICC/POSH, and grievance redressal committees as required by law.

Campus & Approvals

The campus has academic blocks, department labs, a library, sports ground, cafeteria, and a Training & Placement Cell. On-campus hostel construction is in progress; the admissions office can suggest interim stay options for outstation students. The institute is AICTE-approved, DTE-recognised (code 02777), BAMU-affiliated, and holds ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Admissions run on a rolling basis where DTE rules permit. The placement cell starts working with students from the second year on aptitude, internships, and campus drives.

Leadership & Governance

The trust board, Principal, and heads of department oversee academics, examinations, and student welfare. Fee, attendance, and examination rules are shared with students and parents at the start of each year.
