Which B.E. programmes does CDS College offer?

Five AICTE-approved B.E. programmes: Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Each branch has 60 seats (300 total).

Is CDS College affiliated to a university?

Yes. All programmes are affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

What is the eligibility for B.E. admission?

HSC (10+2) with Physics and Mathematics plus Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject. Minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories). Valid MHT-CET and/or JEE Main score as per current DTE Maharashtra policy.

How does MHT-CET CAP admission work?

Register for MHT-CET on the State CET Cell portal, appear for the exam, then register for engineering CAP when notified. Fill your option form with CDS College of Engineering (DTE code 02777) and your preferred B.E. branch. Participate in CAP counselling rounds, accept your allotment, and report to the college with documents and fees within the deadline. See the Admissions page for the full step-by-step process.

Does CDS College accept JEE Main scores?

Yes, where applicable under the current DTE Maharashtra policy — typically for institute-level admission after CAP rounds or for categories notified by DTE. Bring your scorecard at counselling.

Which academic year are admissions open for?

Admissions are open for B.E. programmes for academic year 2026–27, on a rolling intake basis subject to seat availability.

Is admission on a fixed date or rolling intake?

CAP counselling follows fixed rounds and dates announced by the CET Cell / DTE. Institute-level admission at CDS College operates on a rolling intake basis for vacant seats after CAP, subject to eligibility and availability.

How do I apply?

Maharashtra candidates should first complete MHT-CET registration and CAP option filling on the official CET Cell / DTE portals, selecting CDS College (code 02777). For institute-level seats or guidance, submit our online enquiry form, call +91 8454888768, WhatsApp us, or visit the admissions office.

What documents are required?

MHT-CET/JEE scorecard, SSC & HSC marksheets, leaving certificate, domicile/caste certificates if applicable, photographs, and anti-ragging affidavits. See the Admissions page for the full checklist.

Where can I find the fee structure?

Fee details vary by admission category. Download the fee structure PDF from the Downloads page when published, or contact admissions for the current FRA-approved schedule.

Is hostel accommodation available?

Are scholarships available?

Can I visit the campus before applying?

Yes. Schedule a campus tour by phone or WhatsApp. Walk-in visits during office hours are welcome with valid photo ID.

Is the college AICTE approved?

Yes. CDS College of Engineering is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and recognized by DTE Maharashtra (Code: 02777).

When was the college established?

CDS College of Engineering was established in 2025.

Where do I check MHT-CET and CAP counselling dates?

Official dates are published on the State CET Cell Maharashtra website (cetcell.maharashtra.gov.in) and DTE Maharashtra (dte.maharashtra.gov.in). See Official Admission Portals on the Admissions page for direct links.

Where do I register for JEE Main?

Register on the National Testing Agency JEE Main portal (jeemain.nta.nic.in). Application windows and exam dates are announced by NTA each session.

How do I submit the anti-ragging affidavit?

Affidavits can be filed online at antiragging.in as per UGC/AICTE requirements. Download formats from our Downloads page when published and submit at admission.

Where are BAMU examination dates published?

BAMU publishes timetables and results at bamu.ac.in under the Examination section. CDS College notices may summarise key dates on the News page.
