Approvals & Affiliations

CDS College of Engineering is approved by AICTE, recognised by DTE Maharashtra, and affiliated to BAMU. You can cross-check status on government portals or collect certified copies from the college office during working hours.

Annual renewal of approvals and affiliation is done as required. The institute also holds ISO 9001:2015 certification for documented academic and administrative processes.

Regulatory Approvals

  • AICTE Approval — All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, approves the institution and each B.E. programme intake. AICTE approval letters specify sanctioned intake per branch and academic session.
  • DTE Recognition — Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra, assigns institute code 02777 and oversees admission processes, fee compliance, and anti-ragging implementation.
  • University Affiliation — Affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), Aurangabad, for examination, syllabus, and degree conferment.
  • ISO 9001:2015 — Quality management certification demonstrating documented processes for academic delivery and continuous improvement.

Programmes Covered

Approval extends to five full-time B.E. programmes for academic year 2026–27, each with 60 seats per year: Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Total annual intake: 300 seats. The AICTE Letter of Approval (LoA) dated 30 April 2025 is held by the college administration as a reference document for the inaugural approval cycle; authenticated copies may be obtained from the admissions office.
